The new year starts with a bang!

The new year started with a bang! On the 10th of January, my Australian Suite No. 1 was premiered at the tutor's concert of the Australasian Recorder Festival in Armidale! THE BIG BELOW describes in three movements the famous Urulu (Ayer's Rock), the Kookaburra's song, and an ancient ritual. I will publish the music sheet end of January!

Jury, workshop and premiere in Tel Aviv

I am very proud that I am invited to this year's edition of TARF - Tel Aviv Recorder Festival from December 15 to 22 in Tel Aviv! I will be in the jury, I will give workshops and masterclasses, and on the final concert there will be a piece of mine premiered that I wrote for this occasion! See you in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem!

Two new albums on Bandcamp!

Bad Kissingen

I am proud and happy not only to be represented with a stand at the 40th Recorder Festival in Bad Kissingen, but I have also been commissioned by the festival management to compose a piece especially for the Intrada! ABIOUEKA - 40 years of joy will be premiered on Friday, May 30th under the direction of Anna Stegmann! I will also be giving a KNOWLEDGE CORNER about the piece and its background, and you can buy the sheet music from me there! I am very much looking forward to meeting you there in person soon!

Do Re Mi Fa So Volume 1 and 2

Now there are already two volumes of Do Re Mi Fa So! Both contain 20 pieces each for soprano recorder and piano, the melody of which consists exclusively of the notes G A H C D - perfect for beginners!
One volume costs €22.90, both together €32.90. You can also get playbacks! The third volume for alto recorder and piano on the notes G A B C D will be published in April!

Jubilee in Hamburg, Premieres in Switzerland and Spain!

What a year! On February 13, I was on stage at “30 Years of LaLeLu” in the sold-out Laeiszhalle Hamburg, and the six of us sang my arrangement of "Perfect Day". A perfect day! On February 15 and 16, the Arbon Symphony Orchestra performed the world premiere of my piece TIMKAT - AN AFRICAN CELEBRATION three times at the sold-out Presswerk. And on March 12, the children's choir and orchestra of the Cuenca Conservatory performed my FA WO DO YI MAME for choir and orchestra - the official world premiere is in Cuenca on April 9. I will of course be there! Also: My second piano solo album WHITE NILE is now also available on spotify& co at https://listen.music-hub.com/J1Auay!

New Prices!

Two new releases fresh from the printers: Do Re Mi Fa So Vol. 1 (€22.90) are my first pieces for absolute recorder beginners! The 20 melodies make do with the notes g, a, b, c and d! Stylistically I move between Chopin and Debussy, African and Polish, Spanish and medieval, pop, swing and Viennese waltz! Jangu Wano, ten further pieces for soprano or tenor recorder and piano, (24.90) are the successor to Karungi, the recorder part is suitable for advanced beginners, the piano accompaniments are somewhat more demanding. You can also order mp3s of the piano playbacks for both pieces.
Due to the increasing demand for pdf, I am now offering a new price structure! As before, you can buy my printed editions for 19.90 (duo, trio, quartet), 24.90 (quintet, sextet) or 39.90 (orchestra). You can also buy either the pdf only (17.90 / 22.90 / 37.90) or the printed editions plus the pdf (22.90 / 27.90 / 42.90). I will gradually add this to all individual order forms, but you can also let me know when you order!
