There’s a new CD out: RITUALS with Tom Beets and Joris Van Goethem! All my pieces for piano and two recorders – you can order it right here on the website! So far this year, there have been three new albums on Spotify: HEART OF AFRICA with Maciej Łukowski on the djembe and the brilliant guest musicians Andrew Hrysenko, Borys Janczarski, Marcin Oleś and Natalie Bernadette. Then there’s *Cádiz*, featuring all my works for solo recorder and piano with Chris Orton. And available online since May: *FOREVER AND EVER*, 16 instrumental love songs with the Finnish recorder player Juho Myllylä. Concerts: Following the fantastic world premieres in Australia in January (THE BIG BELOW), in Tampere, Finland, in February (Tell them I’ve had a wonderful life for string quintet and solo recorder, featuring Juho Myllylä and Tampere Raw), in Hamburg in March (Ukuzingela for recorder trio with Flutes en bloc), in April in Spain (JOURNEY OF THE SOUL with José Maria Saperas Lafarga and Jimena Villegas), in May in Linz, Austria (HYMN TO LIFE for recorder orchestra and the Linz Music School’s guitar orchestra) and in June in Tokyo (Tales of the 12 Zodiac with the Meguro Recorder Orchestra), followed by the premiere of September Sunday in September in Hainstadt near Frankfurt am Main (Flauto Dolce) – and on 3 October, the saxophone ensemble EQUINOX will give the world premiere of three of my pieces in England! Finally, on 4 November, the last world premiere of the year will take place: Eero Saunamäki and his pianist will perform PEARL OF AFRICA for saxophone and piano for the first time in Turku, Finland!

I’d like to thank everyone who took part in my workshop in Tokyo on 16 June!
Unfortunately, I don’t have any more workshops to offer this year – there’s one more in Bolzano, but that’s only for teachers based there!
